Large crowds and a great deal of interest - that was the impression Dallmer took away from its first participation at PASSAGEN 2014, which was recently held at the same time as the IMM international interiors trade fair in Cologne. Dallmer presented CeraWall, its innovative drainage system for level-access showers, in Ultramarin's stylish showroom. Contemporary bathroom design against the backdrop of industrial history created a uniquely exciting ambience.
PASSAGEN is an event and exhibition programme that promotes current design trends. Specifically, it is a platform to unveil recent developments in the world of interior design in Cologne's galleries, showrooms, furniture stores and other locations. The heading in the programme brochure also drew large numbers to Dallmer: "At the interface of wellness and stylish bathroom architecture: Participating for the first time at PASSAGEN, Dallmer showcased the discreet aesthetics of its new water drains. At the Ultramarin showroom in Cologne, the Arnsberg manufacturer presented high-quality drainage systems for level-access showers that completely redefine our perception of comfort, convenience and wellness in the bathroom."
This is the latest product development of the medium-sized, award-winning manufacturer of sanitaryware. CeraWall combines the aesthetics of front-of-wall linear drainage with the reliability and functionality of proven CeraDrain technology. The modular system comes in two versions. CeraWall S is the combination of a drain body with a stainless steel drain channel, CeraWall P is combined with a virtually invisible drain profile. The bath designer has the choice: CeraWall S that gives the shower area a visually striking finish, or the minimalist design of CeraWall P that creates a fluid transition between floor and wall. Both versions offer technical perfection: both channel and profile are positioned completely above the bonded waterproofing and the drain body is securely anchored.
The ambience of the presentation was both unusual and spectacular for bathroom exhibitions. A high-end bathroom designer, the Cologne company Ultramarin has converted an old 1870s gas works into a showroom. The historic masonry with its seeping industrial heritage formed the extraordinary backdrop to puristic design, modern bathroom architecture and innovative technology.
An exciting experience - and a fitting landscape for the evolving bathroom of today - from utility room to wellness spa. With level-access showers from Dallmer - quality and design down to the smallest detail.
Drainage by design.
