"In April at the IFH/Intherm trade fair in Nuremberg, we saw once again how important personal interaction is. So, we can hardly wait to be able to show our new products at SHK in Essen from 6 to 9 September", says Yvonne Dallmer, Managing Director of Dallmer GmbH + Co KG. At the Dallmer stand, visitors will be able to see the Connect drainage solution, for example, which makes it possible to construct barrier-free showers in existing properties. Dallmer will also be presenting the new DallDrain floor drain system for point drainage. The shower gratings in the DallDrain ColourCollection range come in a choice of 16 colours to give any bathroom real eye-catching design accents. And this is just one of the new items which the Arnsberg-based drainage specialist is taking along for its DallDrain system to Essen.
Technology meets design: barrier-free showers for construction within existing buildings
With Connect, the two companies Jung Pumpen and Dallmer are marketing a joint drainage solution which instantly solves the slope problem which is very common when it comes to bathroom renovation. Jung Pumpen has developed the extremely flat Plancofix Connect floor drain pump which automatically conveys the shower water into the wastewater pipe which is often positioned higher up. Dallmer took care of the design of the shower channel. The innovative drain body with integrated pump can be combined with a total of 12 shower channel solutions from the Dallmer Connect range.
Practical system upgrade: mechanical odour trap
When it comes to renovations, built-in height is often an issue, which is why very low-profile floor drains, like the DallDrain Plan from Dallmer, are important. However, the limited height always detracts from the water seal provided by the odour trap, meaning that it dries out quickly and no longer provides protection against drain odour. The new mechanical odour trap is a practical solution. It is based on a magnetic closing mechanism and works even without a water trap, thus reliably preventing unpleasant smells. That makes it ideal for holiday homes that are not used regularly.
CeraDrain: tried-and-tested technology with new functionality
The product has changed, the name is the same: CeraDrain. The popular floor drain from Dallmer is used in multiple shower facilities, swimming pools, hospitals and many other places. In fact, wherever sturdy design and optimum integration of the floor drain into the surrounding structure are key criteria. Installation technicians can still rely on the familiar features, such as the polymer concrete collar, including steel mesh reinforcement. The tried-and-tested technology is now combined with the benefits of the DallDrain system. Most importantly, the click-in sealing collar for clean integration into the standard-compliant seal. A special new feature is the acoustically insulated mounting bases, which can be flexibly positioned within the steel mesh reinforcement. That means you avoid any conflict with other pipework, and you can secure the CeraDrain drain safe from damage caused by subsequent installation work.
Whether it's Connect, CeraDrain or DallDrain – the Dallmer trade fair team is looking forward to once again showing you both tried-and-tested and new Dallmer products up close and in person. Visit us in Hall 5, Stand 5C36.
