At the Passagen design fair in Cologne, Dallmer collaborated with its industry partners Laufen and Alape to present current trends and innovations for the bathroom. The exposition took place in the Möller fabric pavilion, an architectural highlight of the 1950s designed by Cologne architect Wilhelm Riphahn and protected as a historic monument.
The Arnsberger drainage specialist displayed two installations there, which fans of architecture and design could discover individually or as a guided inspirational journey to the bathroom living space. “Dallmer stands for a variety of possibilities to inspire architects to build customized designs. Our shower channels, for example, are a perfect element for modern bathroom architecture, which breaks old boundaries and plays with colouring and materials in a new manner,” noted Managing Director Yvonne Dallmer.
Installation of the DallFlex shower channel family
Both installations were developed and implemented by Dallmer employees in Arnsberg. One Dallmer installation plays with the different colour tones of the DallFlex shower channel family. This arises from the idea to first separate the shower channel from the drain to obtain flexible installation options for level-access showers. This enables a range of different shower channels to be installed in combination with a single drain body. In addition to the DallFlex drain body, the DallFlex system family also includes ten shower channels that cover a wide range of designs at different price points.
Creation made from colourful gratings
The second installation from the drainage specialists is a creation made from the colourful gratings of the DallDrain ColourCollection in the colours ocean blue, ultramarine blue, sky blue, and white. The ColourCollection is based on the Dallmer stainless steel gratings. In 16 matte-finished colours, they set skilful accents and give every bathroom an individual note. As well as the colour selection on offer, you can also select individual colour shades. The DallDrain system family is known as an installation-friendly, highly flexible solution for floor drainage. Its wide variety of gratings is further enhanced by the ColourCollection.
To the Passagen:
The 34th Passagen design fair took place in Cologne from the 12 to 18 January as part of the Interior Design Week. Parallel to the imm international furniture trade show, Cologne’s inner city was transformed by a total of 150 decentralised locations for a week to a meeting point for the international design scene and design fans.
